If you’ve undergone surgery, you’re likely experiencing pain, swelling, a loss of motion and bruising following the procedure. Sometimes your post-surgery recovery phase can be daunting.

At 4 Oaks Physical Therapy, no matter what level of surgery you underwent, we provide you with the motivation, manual therapy, and exercise you need to restore your strength, motion, and function.

Undergoing physical therapy after surgery is one of the best rehabilitation choices you can make for your mental and physical health. Often, physical therapy is the only exercise you will be allowed after your surgery; so take advantage of it for your wellbeing. Not to mention, regaining your strength is important because weakness in an area of your body can result in an increased likelihood of re-injury.

State-of-the-Art Facilities and Techniques to Get You Back to an Active Lifestyle

At 4 Oaks Physical Therapy, our post-surgical rehabilitation care combines comprehensiveness with advanced, yet compassionate techniques to provide you the best post-surgical care. We use the cutting edge technology in our facility to return you to full function in your normal daily routine.

We relax your muscles by increasing the circulation through the use of numerous manual therapy techniques, which helps your body pump more oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs. In addition to our highly trained therapists, we also offer you the latest rehabilitation equipment to maximize your potential and increase your strength faster than remaining in bed to recover.

At 4 Oaks Physical Therapy, our approach to therapy is extremely hands on in order to help you to release all of the tension that is preventing you from functioning normally. We understand that recovering from a surgery is frustrating, exhausting, and time consuming and we keep that in mind when designing a program for you. Even after you have ceased physical therapy with us, we provide you with a home exercise program so you can continue to heal.

Not only am I an employee, but I was also a patient. The care I received after my car accident was nothing less than FATANSTIC! The therapists and techs were very patient working with me through my concussion and other injuries. Listened to my concerns, modified treatment as necessary and added in some memory games.

4 Oaks Physical Therapy in Hunt Valley Maryland has been a very good experience for me. I had an injury to my hip and was experiencing pain and weakness. They were able to help me reduce the pain and stabilize the hip. Through heat, STIM and exercises I am now pain free and back to my regular routine. I am very grateful for the thorough, professional care that I received.

4 Oaks Physical Therapy in Glen Burnie are the greatest. The PT’s and staff are amazing. I have used their services twice now and will definitely go back if a need arises.😊

I had two occasions to be treated at 4 Oaks here in Pasadena. Once for a rotator cuff strain and once for a scapular / lower back strain. On both occasions, with twice a week in house plus daily home exercises the extremely debilitating injuries were completely alleviated after two months and one month respectively. The staff, physical therapists and assistants were all extremely professional and caring. This facility is totally awesome and to be highly recommended for anyone with an injury to be rehabbed.

I've been in a lot of physical therapy for my foot over the years, but this is the best one. They are professional and have staff available throughout each session to make sure you're doing your exercises correctly. See Michael here and he'll help get you on your way!

I have been to many PTs over the years and this team is by far the best I have ever had. They are very talented and spend alot of time working on you in addition to providing exercises that help you get stronger. All three PTs are amazing but Pam is my favorite. Very personable, caring and talented. And all of the PT assistants are friendly and helpful. I actually enjoy my visits with this team! ❤️
